Cancellation Policies

• Tour bookings are not confirmed until payment is received

​

• In any event, Discover Melbourne Tours strongly advises you to take out travel insurance, it makes easy for you as it offers cover in the case of a range of unforeseen events including medical emergencies, flight cancellations and emergency accommodation.

​

• We always suggest a call, email or text the day prior to your tour to ensure all your details are as they should be. It is not obligatory, but it helps.

​

• Private, corporate bookings and cancellation policies;

A deposit of 50% of the quoted tour minimum is requested to hold tour date

Full payment is required 7 days prior to departure

More than 21 days in advance – full refund

Less than or equal to 21 days but more than 2 days in advance – 50% of tour fee

within 48 hours of commencement – refunds will not be available

• Group bookings and cancellation policies, the following fees will be invoiced if agreed bookings are cancelled:

More than 21 days in advance – full refund
Less than or equal to 21 days but more than 14 days in advance – 30% of tour fee
Less than or equal to 14 days but more than 2 days in advance – 50% of tour fee
within 48 hours of commencement – refunds will not be available

• Additional numbers will be accommodated subject to availability.

​

• All changes must be received in writing.

​

• If changes are made more than 14 days prior to original booking there is no charge. The re-booking date must be within 2 months.

​

• All changes are subject to availability. If changes are made within the 48 hours, this will be considered as a cancellation – refunds will not be available.

​

• If last minute (less than or equal to 14 days) date changes are made, a 30% fee will be charged to take the revised date.

​

• Bookings are not confirmed until a booking confirmation number is received or invoice is written and sent or payment is received by Discover Melbourne Tours.

​

• If Discover Melbourne Tours is forced to cancel a booked tour, any prior payments will be fully refunded. Please contact us if you have any questions.

​

• Discover Melbourne Tours operate in all weather, though reserves the right to alter or amend an itinerary if circumstances require.

Refund

​

• If there is any refund,  the refund will be made within 48 hours and the refund payments will be made using the same payment method you used to make the initial purchase.

Private group bookings

​

• Tours can be adapted to between 2 to 4 hours.

​

Personalized itineraries:  If you would like a personalized tour, please contact us with specific requests, we are certain to be able to create an itinerary to suit – within our focus of a design snapshot of Melbourne

 

Corporate bookings: Corporate bookings are available for groups between 4 to 20  people per session – (groups will be split to maximum 10)· Larger groups would be considered case by case.

 

Tours conducted in Mandarin/Cantonese:  We can conduct tour in Mandarin / Cantonese · Group sizes can be from 2 to 20, and can range from 2 to 4 hours with lunch options.
